The view alone is worth the drive. Our host walked us through every wine like a story. We left as members.

We've toured Napa and Bordeaux. DAOU stands with the best of them. The Patrimony Immersion was the most thoughtful tasting we've done.

Drove up at golden hour and didn't want to leave. The Estate Experience pairings were spectacular. Easily the highlight of our Paso trip.

Arrival Procedure

Stop at the Kiosk before you drive up.

Mountain parking is limited and reserved for confirmed guests. A DAOU team member at the Kiosk checks you in and directs you to the upper or lower lot. Please don't drive past it.

  1. 01

    Approach via Hidden Mountain Road.

From Adelaida Road, turn at the DAOU sign. The Kiosk is the first structure on your right, a quarter mile in.

  2. 02

    Check in at the Kiosk.

Have your reservation confirmation ready. Our greeter verifies your reservation and assigns you to the upper or lower lot.

  3. 03

    Drive up. Arrive.

Lower lot guests are met by a complimentary shuttle within five minutes. Allow ten minutes from check-in to seated.

Before You Arrive

A few notes from our hosts.

What to Wear

Resort casual. Bring layers for the terrace, golden hour cools fast at 2,200 feet. Heeled shoes are tricky on the gravel paths, so flats are welcome.

Group & Private Events

Reservations of 8 or more are arranged through our private events team.

Kids & Pets

Well behaved children are welcome at all daytime experiences with a parent. Service animals are always welcome. We ask other pets stay home so the vineyard cats can roam.

Allocation Pickup

Members picking up an allocation should reserve their slot at least 24 hours ahead. Pickups can be paired with any tasting experience.

The Drive Up

Eight miles west of downtown Paso. Hidden Mountain Road winds gently, so budget 20 minutes from town. The Kiosk is your first stop on arrival.

Common Questions

Asked, answered.

If you don't see your question here, our customer experience team is one phone call away, or you can ask them right now below in the chat.

Yes. Every table at DAOU is reserved. Walk-ins cannot be guaranteed seating, even at the bar. Most weekday slots are available same day, and members reserve up to 90 days out.
Absolutely. Many guests book Discover DAOU and upgrade on arrival to the Estate Experience for the chef curated bites. Just let your host know. The upgrade is $45 per guest.
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your reservation. Within 24 hours, a $25 per guest fee applies. The Patrimony Immersion requires 72 hours notice.
The tasting room, terrace, and main paths are wheelchair accessible. The Kiosk staff will direct you to the upper lot for the shortest route. Please mention any access needs in your reservation notes so we can prepare.
Spring (April through June) and early fall (September through October) are the most temperate. Summer afternoons can exceed 95°F on the terrace, when we add shade and water service. Harvest from late August through October is the most atmospheric, and the busiest.

See you on the mountain.
