DAOU membership is complimentary as there is no fee to join. We invite you to make the most of your membership by reviewing the following benefits and policies.
By joining, you verify that you or the recipient of our wine allocations is at least 21 years of age. You also authorize DAOU to charge your credit card three times per year (possibly four) for a minimum of three allocations.
Notifications & Shipments
Member allocations feature our most coveted wines, many of which are exclusive to members. You will receive a detailed notification email at least two weeks prior to your allocations being processed in the months of February, April, August and November.
One distinct advantage of a DAOU membership is the ability to customize your allocations. In the notification emails described above, we will elaborate on which wines are available for customization. If you decide not to customize your allocation, you will receive our winemaker’s recommended selection of new release wines.
Each allocation will be charged to your credit card on file two weeks after you receive your notification email. It is your responsibility to notify DAOU of any changes to your credit card or addresses (billing or shipping) at least five days prior to the billing date specified in the notification email. Changes can be made via your online member dashboard or by calling us at (805) 226-5460 ext. 205.
DAOU is not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments or changes made after the deadline. If a shipment is returned for an incorrect address or after three failed delivery attempts, you will be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping, rerouting or restocking.
Wine purchases, tax and shipping are non-refundable once they have been processed. Costs may change without notice.
Due to federal law requiring all wine shipments to be signed for by a person at least 21 years old, a daytime delivery address, preferably a business address, is requested. Shipments are handled by UPS or FedEx and cannot be delivered to PO, FPO, APO or IPO boxes. Returned or refused shipments will incur additional fees as described above.
12 Vin members enjoy complimentary shipping on allocations. Standard shipping rates apply to 6 and 3 vin memberships.

Winery Will Call
We offer the opportunity for registered “will call” members to pick up their allocation at the winery. We will hold the allocation for up to six weeks. After this period, if special arrangements have not yet been made, we will ship the allocation to the primary address on file.

You may cancel your membership after three Wine Club allocations with written notice to firstname.lastname@example.org.If membership is cancelled prior to the receipt of three allocations, the member is responsible for the cost of the honored savings and benefits received during the trial membership period.
Sharing Your Club Benefits
We are only able to have one name and one corresponding email on the membership.
Benefits are not transferable. However, as part of the Proprietor member benefits, if you have family or friends who would like to visit the winery when you are not present you may request up to four tastings per calendar year.
